END OF THE TOUR, PARTING OF WAYS IN COIMBATORE.... (AND VISIT TO A STRANGE MALL!)

Yes, it was with a heavy heart that I said farewell to my companions, who were heading back to Russia. I stayed on a couple more days in my Coimbatore hotel to rest and get well... but spent a last, strange day with Alena at a mall in the town. Here, we watched in amazement as an open-air "spa" had their clients soak their feet in giant fish bowls. The purpose, apparently, was to have the fish nibble and remove the dead skin off of their feet! YUCK!!!!!

Not quite sure what the chart said, but I imagine it insinuated that the fish were inadvertently doing reflexology on the customers' feet. What a strange world we live in, India and in general!!!

Yes, along with skin-nibbling fish, what would any proper Indian mall be without its "snow fantasy" park? I presumed it was an indoor snow playground... snow artificially manufactured, of course... cheaper than an excursion to the Himalayas, I suppose!!!
